Studio 84: Vibe
A recital shirt that actually passes the vibe check — and still gets worn on a Tuesday.
Overview
The design was printed on a classic black crew neck tee, keeping the focus squarely on the word "VIBE" centered across the chest. Each letter is rendered as a bold outline only, no fill, with each one in a different neon tone: green, pink, yellow, and orange. That outline treatment gives it a modern, retro neon sign feel without being loud about it. The black garment was the right call here because it makes those colored outlines pop without needing a heavy ink load. Placement is a centered chest print, which is clean and exactly what a word mark like this calls for.
Results
The goal was a dance recital shirt that students actually want to keep. Bold enough to feel like a statement, simple enough to wear anywhere. These dance t-shirts are designed to outlive the show and feel like something a dancer picked out herself rather than something handed to her backstage.
