Upper Level Fitness: Murph Red Alert

Every year Murph asks something real of the people who show up. Upper Level Fitness wanted their members to leave with something that carried that weight long after the workout was done.

Overview

This design was printed on a bold red racerback tank built to hold a big back graphic. The back centers on a halftone portrait of Lt. Murphy surrounded by a ghost American flag, the full Murph workout listed in clean stacked type, and a heavy "MURPH 25" bar punched in yellow and gray. The front keeps it simple with the Upper Level Fitness wordmark in a tonal dark ink. Yellow on red is a loud combination that reads well under any lighting, and the racerback cut gives the full back graphic the open canvas it needs. These crossfit shirts were designed to feel like a year-specific drop, not a generic gym shirt.

Results

This tank was built to be kept, not tossed. The bold color block and portrait-style graphic give it enough personality to wear outside the gym on any given day. Members who earned Murph in 2025 get a shirt that says exactly that, and says it loud. That is the whole point of a good murph shirt.
