CrossFit Knoxville: Murph Camo

CrossFit Knoxville has been showing up for Murph since 2008. This shirt was built to honor that history and the man the workout was named after.

Overview

Printed on a sand tee, the camo fill ties the whole design together. The front badge logo uses the gym's existing mark filled with green camo, keeping the brand familiar but giving it a military edge. On the back, bold block lettering spells out "MURPH" in an oversized camo fill with a "25" nestled inside the letters. A flat black American flag runs above it with the full workout printed alongside the stripes. Front and back work together without either one fighting for attention.

Results

The sand and camo combo gives this crossfit shirt a look that holds up well past Memorial Day. Members who have been with the gym since the early days get a little extra out of the "Since 2008" call on the front. This is the kind of gym shirt people fold up and keep, not one they toss in the donation bin after a year.
