BARX CrossFit: Murph Flag

Every year, gyms across the country stop what they are doing to honor Lt. Michael P. Murphy. BARX CrossFit wanted a shirt that felt as serious as the workout itself.

Overview

The back is printed with a full distressed American flag in red, white, and blue. Bold stencil lettering spells "MURPH" vertically down the left side while "2025" anchors the corner, and the workout reps stack along the center stripes in tight condensed type. It is a military patch look with a lot of presence. The front is clean, just the BARX CrossFit wordmark in cream. The heathered navy tee was the right call since it gives the flag graphic real contrast without competing with it. Full back placement gives the design room and makes it easy to read from across the room on game day.

Results

This is the kind of Murph shirt that does not end up in a donation bin. The design is bold enough for Memorial Day and clean enough to wear the rest of the year. It gives the BARX community something to hold onto long after the last air squat is done.
