North Industry: Murph Portrait

Every year Murph asks the same question of a gym community — are you going to show up? North Industry showed up, and they did it in a shirt that makes sure no one forgets why.

Overview

Printed on a black crew neck tee, the back features a large portrait of Lt. Murphy in full combat gear overlapping bold gold outlined type that reads "MURPH" with the year split on either side. The gold and muted flag tones against black give this crossfit shirt a solemn feel rather than a loud gym graphic. The front carries a circular North Industry crest in matching gold on the left chest, keeping the brand present without competing with the tribute on the back.

Results

This gym shirt was designed to feel more like a tribute piece than a workout tee. Putting a portrait on the back puts a face to the name, which is the whole point of Murph. Members who finish the workout in this one will not be quick to throw it in a donation bin.
